This weekend we watched a fabulous film, Amazing Grace. True story of William Wilberforce, a man with a strong constitution who ended slavery in the UK. We also started Sicko, the Michael Moore documentary on health care in the US. I had not realized the film was about people in our country who HAVE health insurance and what happens to them when they get sick.
The best part of weekend media was the resumption of Masterpiece Theater’s The Complete Jane Austen. Next Sunday is Sense and Sensibility so cement it in your schedule if it isn’t already.
