Punch

Yesterday afternoon after Luke’s nap
I dipped my hand in my go to bag of treats.
Out came a punch balloon.
Turns out it is perfect inside fun
for a two year old stuck inside while
the snow comes down.
Think red playground ball but balloon red playground ball…

Nolan

He will be six weeks old tomorrow.
He is already in 3-6 month clothing.
Didn't know he had so much hair did you?

Rock It

This morning I totally rocked it.
I took my two year old
and
my five week old
to the far away grocery store.
It was a smashing success.

With this task under my belt
I'm pretty sure I could solve
some world problems...
because I'm sure our world leaders
couldn't handle taking two kids
to the grocery store.
No offense to our world leaders..
...well...
maybe just a little.

P.S. Not every trip out will be like this one but I'm going to give thanks for the grace the Lord gave us this morning.

Jumping

One of Luke’s Christmas gifts was an indoor jumper/bouncy thingy.
It rocks as an indoor toy (read: winter energy consumer).
Two pictures and two videos of our recent jumping adventures.

Snow

The day we arrived home from the hospital
was the evening the big snow storm of December 2009 arrived.
We were delightfully snowed in.
