All week I’ve been admiring frontier women.
Frontier women had to
love
feed
clothe
nurture
teach and train-up
correct and discipline
and enjoy
their husbands and children.
All under a covered wagon, with no running water, no indoor plumbing, no electricity, no washer and dryer, no dishwasher, and no grocery stores overflowing with already prepared foods.

With no hot water for part of the weekend, I feel like I know just a tiny bit of how a frontier woman had to deal with back in the day! Thank goodness we have plumbers today!!!
