Ice Cream

Luke, Nolan and I found ourselves
minus our fearless leader last night.
(He was busy at a work dinner)
(In my book that means he was busy enjoying a meal without children and adult conversation.)
We needed something special.
I needed something special.
So I told Luke we were going for ice cream after dinner.
He was happy but skeptical because
much of our dinner conversation went like this:
Luke: Mama, are we going to the ice cream factory after dinner?
Me: Yes.
Luke: Mama, are we going to eat it there?
Me: Yes.
Luke: Oh. Good idea, mama.
So off we went.
The three of us.

Standing in line.

Watching two tween girls, ignoring ice cream.

On the drive home Luke told me getting ice cream was fun.
Twice.

Luke knows what he's talking about!! Getting ice cream is fun. You can't go wrong with mint chocolate chip or pralines and cream. Love it, love it!
